Rinaldi remembers how his wife did not like to be filmed and so he is reminded of one of the few films in which she appears, the same film in which we witness the narrative sketch created around grandfather Ettore's dream. In this little mise-en-scene, Ettore falls asleep on a deckchair dreaming of beautiful and provocative girls. When he wakes up, after a big yawn, he happily returns to his work in the fields. In the montage of this sketch, Francesco alternates between images of a competitive majorettes event and provocative photographs found in the press of the period.
