Massimo Bacigalupo recalls his meeting with Guy Davenport that took place thanks to Ezra Pound in July 1964. Thanks to Davenport, Bacigalupo came in touch with the New American Cinema and proposed to the Rapallo Cineclub to screen a few films at Rapallo's Passo Ridotto Film Festival but without receiving permission.
