"Cosa succede in periferia?" is a 1971 film that narrates a series of small micro-stories in which the author makes figurines taken from magazines interact with museum works, Renaissance pieces and characters from his earlier films. In an atmosphere of contamination between the Renaissance and the suburbs, the different elements explore and interact with the proscenium of a small theater and the contemporaneity of the present.
