Encountering the first children's film

Emilio Sidoti recounts his encounter with "the first children's film." It was a film created by a class of Zenodocchio's schoolchildren. However, the production of a second film led to a quarrel between Zenodocchio and Sidoti because of which their relationship ceased. Despite the estrangement Sidoti has always remained very appreciative of Zenodocchio's work which allowed him to approach filmmaking in school and bring critical work to education through film.
