Luca Ferro recounts his first encounter with "family cinema" which occurred in the late 1950s, when he was about ten years old. Ferro was attracted by the images shot by his father in Ethiopia and, despite the disturbance caused by the vision of tragic situations, it was the pleasure of being able to project moving images to preveal.
