The war is a caesura that perhaps appears much more drastic to us today than it actually was. The first post-war period was certainly not the time to reorganise the film or amateur filmmaking sector and the most natural thing to do was to build on the previous structures, organisations and even personalities, leading to a transition of contiguity between the Cineguf and the post-war Cine-clubs.
