The FEDIC's cinematographic experimentalism should be seen in fairly conservative terms, both in flavour and in the way films were made. The most conservative direction is certainly that of the 1940s-1950s, with the 1960s FEDIC's direction will instead go more in an open direction to an amateur filmmaking experimentalism that is also cinematographic experimentalism, politically committed and perhaps contestative and provocative.
