Desire, body and freedom are subjects particularly intertwined with women's artistic production in the 1970s mainly because, in industrial cinema, the woman's body was hyper present as an object of male desire. The body therefore did not position itself behind the camera but rather as subject of vision and desire. Therefore, also and above all to question the role assumed by women, these three key words constantly return in the study of female and feminist cinema practices of the time.
