You don't need magic brooms to fly over Milan, all you need to do is climb the spires of the Duomo, access the camera, move it in space and then perhaps turn it around. This is the miracle of cinema in Milan, an effect produced by those who, like Pippo Barzizza, have seen - or just breathed - a lot of avant-garde. Flying over the city, we discover how much this urban landscape is changing, we are catapulted into one of the many phases of transformation that characterise Mediolanum, etymologically the city that lies in the middle of the plain. We see the eternal construction sites from above. Eternal not because they never end but because there are always new ones. We also climbed up here to celebrate little Isa (1929-2023), to whom we dedicate these images a few days after her passing. The air of the spires seems to do her good judging by the smiles. We see her with her mother Tatina, her uncle and then also in Pippo's arms
