The protagonists of this 16mm screen test are two girls in their twenties, while one of their contemporaries acts as sparring partner. In one of the two one recognises Eleonora Rossi Drago. She is 22 years old and has been Fiorella's mother for five years. She got married while she was pregnant amidst the bombings to Cesare, from whom she took her surname and who later became a partisan and moved to Argentina after the war, leaving her alone. Eleonora did not give up, she worked as a model and took part in the Miss Italy contest in 1947. Resulting among the favourites, she was, however, excluded because she was a mother and wife. But she is strong and on 20 October of the same year she tried her hand at cinema and auditioned. She was to become one of the most loved and sought-after actresses of Italian cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. Now recognise Eleonora, whose face does not seem marked by an already dense experience.
