In January 1930, the composer and musician Pippo Barzizza is in Paris, probably with his jazz orchestra Blue Star, but we do not know for sure. Here we find him with three friends (fellow musicians?) near the Opera and we see him for a moment, he is dressed in dark clothing, holding a camera case and wearing round glasses. Pippo Barzizza is also a very skilful filmmaker and for the rest of his life he devoted himself to family scenes but also to fiction, presenting his productions at festivals.
In this short 9.5mm film there are men jokingly crossing the street and affectionately portraying each other, a taxi driver waving to the camera and a camera car, a dizzying moving shot of the Paris ‘trafic’.
