21 December 1981, winter solstice and Christmas dinner at the Rinaldi house in the Modenese countryside (in Savignano sul Panaro). Scene we see in this sound sequence taken from the sixth film of the Super8 film work 'Tempo', a series dedicated to the changing seasons of country life. The author of the saga is Francesco Rinaldi with his family: the generation of grandparents, children (Francesco and his wife), and grandchildren. Here they are reunited in a dinner party that condenses a bit of an epochal and cultural transition: the fireplace lit and the television on, the nativity scene and the Father Christmas figurine, the lights and visual effects that amuse Francesco greatly, the homemade cake and Motta panettone. "Did you eat the tortellini? Are they good?" asks mother Graziella, "Very good," answers daughter Anna. A generational passage from mouth to mouth.
