Emilio Sidoti explains the methodology used in the work of "cinema in school." From the crude method to the mature method, via the evolved method, each procedure required a different participation of the teacher, the schoolchildren and any other adults. In the evolved method and the mature method, the children became increasingly involved in the production of the film, from film-editing to the choice of settings, the work with the students developed in a participatory manner.
