"Tarzan Basso" (1972-73) is a children's film that originated from Emilio Sidoti's idea to involve one of his schoolchildren in the making of a film about Tarzan. The movie, inspired by the Hollywood cinema, allowed the little boy to become the protagonist of his own story. A counter-story was then born from this film, conceived this time by his classmate Giorgio and titled "Tarzan Giorgio" (1972-73). The latter is a movie which, reflecting on the drama of pollution, narrates Tarzan's escape from the forest to the city.
