"Scene di famiglia" is one of several films shot by the Chierici brothers representing family scenes. Dated 1939, the film shows grandparents, brothers and little cousins enjoying themselves together on a sunny day. The characters play with a kitten, talk serenely in the garden and wave to the camera. Between those who are embarrassed to smile at the camera and those who proudly show a little plane to the camera, the family members, young and old, participate in the genesis of a typical amateur family film.
