Roberto Chierici retraces his memory of the screenings in which his grandfather Lodovico's films became the subject of family viewing. Chierici recalls the magical atmosphere in which the family would gather - in the darkness of winter afternoons - to watch the image appear on the screen. He also recalls the preparatory work in which, by helping his father set up the projection, he learnt how to handle the moviolas and glue the film.
