This film, shot by Giuseppe Bacigalupo on Easter Day 1945, captures a meal with friends set on the hill of Sant'Andrea di Foggia. As mentioned by Massimo Bacigalupo in the interview, Giuseppe and Frieda had taken refuge on the hill during the bombing of Rapallo. Despite the succession of wartime events just a few kilometres away from the hill, the film shows us images of a peaceful life that carried on almost unchanged: the walk up the hill, the preparation of the fire for the spit roasting and the sound of guitars accompanying the picnic.
